| By car: | Lunan
Lodge is easily accessible from the A92 between Arbroath and Montrose just
north of Inverkeilor. Take a look at the mini-map to the right. If you're coming from the North: We're 5 miles south of Montrose. After you see the junction for Lunan and Rossie, keep going straight on along the A92 another 200 yards, past the bus stop, past the grey cottage on your left, and then look out for our blue "pub sign" a few yards later on the left. If you're coming from the South: We're 8 miles north of Arboath, and 3 miles north of Inverkeilor. When you see the junction for Hawkhill and Lunan, keep going straight on along the A92, through the twisties, and when the road straightens out, you'll see the grey and white houses on either side of the road. Look out for our blue pub sign on the right just before you reach the houses. There's plenty of parking available. |

| By train: | The
closest railway stations are at Montrose and Arbroath - give us a call and
we'll pick you up from there. There's a regular service from all over the
UK. The Caledonian Sleeper is by far the most civilised way to get between here and London - you go to sleep, and Scotland just happens to you! Book ahead to get the best deals. |
|
| By bus: | A local bus service passes within ¼ mile of the door. Service 39 (Mon-Sat, Montrose-Dundee) goes every hour each way, and service 39A (Sundays, Montrose-Dundee) goes every two hours. | |
| By air: | Edinburgh
is the closest truly international airport, serving most of Europe and onward
to the rest of the world. There are good rail connections from the airport to
here. Aberdeen is close by, serving Scandinavia and the rest of the UK. The trains are frequent, but you'll need to get a taxi between Aberdeen (or Dyce) and the airport. Dundee has a small airport, which has a regular shuttle to London City. |
|
| By bike: | We're just off National Cycle Route 1 between Ferryden and Lunan Village - the path up to Lunan Lodge is just after the obelisk at Braehead. |
