A golfer's paradise! The spiritual home of golf is right here, in Scotland. And right here, on the East coast, you'll find one unforgettable course after another! The world of golf is, of course, governed from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, on the Fife coast. Famous for being the worlds oldest survivng club, it has operated continuously for over 250 years. Montrose Medal Links is our closest golf course. It's the fourth-oldest golf course in the world, and still has 25 holes (it was built before the present 18 holes were standardised). Besides these two, there are many other excellent golf courses within easy reach of Lunan Lodge. Both Montrose and Arbroath boast several excellent courses, the outstanding courses at Letham Grange are less than ten minutes awy, and the world-famous courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews are only a short hop away. Some of the world's most famous golf courses, loads for "golf widows" and "orphans" to do while you're playing - what more could you ask for? Some of our friends:Here are some people with whom we have established relationships. This is not simply a directory: it's recommendations. |
