Set in two acres of secluded grounds, Lunan Lodge has outstanding views over the spectacular Lunan Bay and Red Castle only ¼ mile away. From this quiet and secluded bed and breakfast, you can explore the nearby towns and countryside, or if you prefer you can just relax in the peaceful gardens and spacious rooms.
We are situated between Montrose and Arbroath (the birthplace of Scotland) in the beautiful county of Angus on the East coast of Scotland. At night you can see, flashing over the headland, the world-famous Bell Rock lighthouse - featured on BBC's "Seven Wonders of the Industrial World".
The oldest part of the house dates back to the 18th century, and retains many period features. The best-preserved room in the house is the Penthouse, with the original plaster cornices still visible. Over the years, the house has figured in many local stories - among many others there's the man who used to live in the pig-pen, and the gravestone which refuses to be photographed. We'd be happy to take you on a tour of the house - see how people's lives have changed over the last 250 years!
Our unique "Exlusively Yours" promise means that you can relax as if you're at home. When we accept your booking, we'll guarantee not to take anyone else. There'll never be strangers in the house. You're in control of who stays.
We're on the telly! |
